However, some people like to know a bit about the person doing the writing. So, here goes. I'm a born-again Christian and have been for over 50 years. I've spent a lot of time studying the Bible and some time serving as a Bible-study teacher. Having completed a 40-year career in finance, I now have more time to devote to sharing some of what the Lord has taught me. I believe the Lord has gifted me as a teacher, but you can judge that for yourselves.

I've been married to my wife for over 40 years, and we have two healthy, happy, and successful adult sons, both Christians. I drive a Jeep, shoot guns, and sometimes use bad words. Not proud of that last one, but there it is. And, oh yeah, I like cats. I used to be a dog person, but with my wife's help, I've evolved and now prefer cats.
