The Kingdom of Hrothgar is a northern Viking Chiefdom that values strength and tradition. They have had multiple histories of raids, battles, and reforms. The frozen north fears this wild and untamable place, and countless attempts have been made. But even after all these, the Chiefdom has still managed to keep itself alive.

Their economy is persistent on raiding and warfare in order to supply themselves. However, reforms made by their new leader Frederick Orsen have made it so that trade is now their primary source of revenue.

While some of the more conservative elder vikings have chosen to split off and become bandits in the Frozen North, much of the population has benefited from increase in livelihood and development due to the resources that they have received from trade.
