The Kingdom of Drasek is an Elf Kingdom that values Environmentalism, Kindness, Discipline, and Tradition. They are somewhat of a mysterious kingdom in the northwestern part of Selyria, bordering The Kingdom of Ravena and The Free Town of Ravenhill.
While from the outside, Drasek may seem to be a whimsical and ethereal, their decades of decline in population, economy, military, and technology, have turned them into a failed state.
Drasek was a former empire during the Centurion Wars. However, this empire was more of a mess of multiple territories that only chose to ally with Drasek as they saw it as protection from both Porthos and Trost. When the empire crumbled, Drasek grew itself up slowly to be a proper state.
When the famine of 1570 happened, shifters from Ravena fleed to The Kingdom of Drasek. The cultural divide between the 2 races became a hotbed for racism, but eventually stopped after 5 years when the Draseki government claimed that Ravena has done operations inside their territory.
The Draseki Culture heavily emphasizes discipline and maturity. The average Draseki is described as a very stoic, and calm person. They heavily respect the trees and creatures around them, going as far as using Sanamancers to build their house around trees.
It is said that normal Selyrians cut down trees to make a house, but a Draseki only has to call their local druid to make a house out of a seed.
Another key aspect of their culture is the normalization of being non-binary. It is common for Selyrians outside of Drasek to be confused about a Draseki's sexuality. Their clothes and acts usually do not stray far away from each other. Although there are some gender roles in their society, much of childcaring revolves around the druids in the kingdom, teaching them how to respect their surroundings, and how to hunt for themselves.
