In a simple manner, The Selyrian Chronicles is a story about different political aspects. Our story is separated into seasons. A season is a narrative arc that usually consists of an overarching problem or event in the story. And it’s in these seasons where our story usually shines. The Canon Lore (what the main story of TSC is called) is more complex than what you will read, but it will give you a good idea of what the story is about.
The story introduces the Shifters, The COA, and the RBR (Now known as the SCM). These two became prime opponents who would fight each other until a siege occurred in The Kingdom of Ravena.
Simply, The Red Blood Regiment (Now known as the Selyrian Crimson Militia) fights for the safety of the people. The Clan of Aeryth fights for the rights of shifters, and The Kingdom of Ravena is the main kingdom we roleplay in. In the end, the Red Blood Regiment, and all the people from Ravena retreat to a new kingdom called The Kingdom of Karthus.
We learn more about the shifters, and get introduced to The Kingdom of Karthus. Here we get introduced and learn more about the other factions, like the BVR, GEG, VSAC, and The WKR. There would also be minor factions in the mix, but it is simply how it expands with the sufferings of the shifters, and how they were treated harshly back then.
In the end, the Ravenians and Karthusians take back Ravena, driving out The Clan of Aeryth from the kingdom.
After a couple of months pass, a man named Jericho spreads a shifter gas that turns people into shifter zombies. The BVR, RBR, and GEG deals with it, until the VSAC betrays them by attacking the RBR. In the end, the BVR, GEG, RBR, and the COA sign a treaty to end the shifter conflict, to focus on fighting Jericho and The VSAC. The season ends with a large battle in North Castle, forcing the VSAC to retreat.
