  The SēD Alternative Gallery & Lab , is a Placemaking project.

Its mission is to foster creativity, build community connections, and enhance the cultural 

landscape of its village and its neighboring villages through the arts.  

Key objectives include-  

• utilizing arts and culture to strengthen those connections

• increase community participation in the arts

• and provide a platform for local artists to collaborate, experiment,

and share their work

We believe in the power of art to inspire, challenge, and transform, and we are dedicated to exhibiting diverse and thought-provoking works that showcase their voices and perspectives. Through our Lab, we aim to create a learning environment that encourages questions and allows mistakes to happen during the process. Our community is the driving force behind what we do.

SēD is located with Collofello Fine Art inside the old Chauncey Library Hall, which was established in 1930 and renovated in 2017.
