Your couple entrance song is an important moment of your big day as it's the first time you're officially introduced as a married couple. Depending on your style, you can make this one of the most fun wedding songs of the entire day!

This is a great time to go for something humorous, like one of our funny wedding songs if you like a laugh, or stick with a cheesy pop song or rock classic as your entrance song. All of these entrance of bride and groom songs (or bride and bride, groom and groom, or however you'd like to be introduced on the day) will add an extra special touch to your celebrations.

You're probably wondering how to pick the best song for a wedding entrance. Well, this has certainly been one of your life's most romantic moments, so Tony from Tony Winyard DJ and MC recommends picking a song that pays homage to your love story.

"I really encourage the couple to choose songs which have a special meaning to them; such as from a movie they both love, from a holiday or from their time at uni," he says, "Choosing a song that pulls on the heartstrings and brings a touch of sentimentality to your entrance could be the perfect option to tie your big day together"

Giving couples more options, Tony adds, "Alternatively, you could go for a crowd-pleaser to kickstart your festivities. The most popular options recently have been Uptown Funk by Mark Ronson ft. Bruno Mars, Happy by Pharrell Williams, and I Gotta Feeling by Black Eyed Peas. These tunes are sure to heighten the feel-good mood of your wedding reception and get your friends and family up on their feet."

This all depends on the order you want you and your party to enter. Some people choose to have their wedding party members go first, leading up to the couple. Alternatively, the moment can be savoured for just the newlyweds. Generally, your choice of wedding reception entrance songs should all be around the three-minute mark to allow for time to ensure everybody makes their entrance smoothly.

Jess, business owner and wedding planner of Occasion Queens, highlights the need to pick a song that suits this timing. "At the end of the day, you want to make sure the song fits the pace of your bridal party and the distance they need to walk. So, pick a song that makes your entrance beautiful and seamless," she says.

To ensure everything goes smoothly for your couple wedding entrance song, have your DJ or master of ceremonies gather the guests by the entrance, creating a welcoming line for you to walk through. Then it's time to play your entrance song. Ensure your DJ knows how you want to be introduced. Are you taking each other's names or would you rather be referred to as 'the happy couple'?

You also need to think about what your guests will be doing while you enter. This is a fantastic moment to capture on camera, so you'll want to get the snap prepped. Having guests with streamers or party poppers to pop as you come in can look fantastic. Then all you have to do is walk in hand and hand to one of your favourite entrance wedding songs and raise your hands as the crowd go wild!

Here comes the bride! One of the most memorable parts of your big day will be the moment the bride enters the room - it's the first time the groom and the wedding guests will see the bride, so it's essential to give that moment the impact it deserves!

To make a grand entrance, you're going to need to pick a suitably grand entrance song to walk down the aisle to. Your choice of processional song will help set the tone for the rest of your wedding ceremony, right up to the first dance song.

The easiest way to choose your bridal entrance music is to look at what everyone else is doing - these entrance songs must be this popular for a reason! Here are 10 of the most frequently chosen wedding songs to walk down the aisle to - modern, classics, modern classics and more:

These masterpieces never get old. Whether it's the rich harmonies of the string quartet or the intricate dynamics of the piano, classical music is a must if you're planning the dream traditional wedding ceremony:

We chose I Believe In A Thing Called Love for everyone's entrances! Like Samantha said, it only takes a couple seconds to be introduced, so it seemed a bit much to us to have multiple songs. The DJ turned down the music to make everyone's introductions (and announced who everyone was i.e. bride's parents, groom's parents, MOH and BM, etc.) so it's not like people didn't notice when each group was entering. Our DJ also gave us the option of a different song for each group but said it was totally normal to choose just one.

If your DJ told you to pick three - well they are the experts! In most weddings I've been to it's either only one song for everyone or one song for the parents & bridal party then a different song for bride and groom. I think three could be alright but you should consider how many people will be walking into each one. For example, one set of parents plus a small bridal party is going to need a lot less time than two sets of grandparents, two sets of parents, and a bridal party of 14. Something else to consider - when you and your fiance are introduced will you be going right into your first dance (common)? If so, that's another quick song change and if that's the case I would probably lean towards walking in with the same song as your bridal party so you aren't playing one song for 15 second then switching again.

Your ceremony was gorgeous and everything you ever dreamed it would be! Congratulations are in order! So what is next for the happy couple? A party! But not just any party. It is your wedding reception. You have to make a big splash walking into your wedding reception. The DJ is going to hype up you and your party. You are going to burst through the doors in a blaze of glory. All eyes will be on you so what song is playing? What song should you play to match that crazy, electrifying energy of introducing yourself as a new couple? Here are some songs that we think will get your guests pumped as you make your grand entrance.

Going with a Classic Rock song can help you boom into your reception. These songs are designed to be played for stadiums. Classic Rock songs compete with sold out crowds that chant for more. They are made to get a crowd riled up. The following songs can get your guests into a frenzy (in a good way).

In the same way Classic Rock gets stadiums jumping, you could go for the southern charm side. Pop Country is a great choice if you are looking for a little more of a down home style entrance. You can get the hoedown kicked off right with one of these Pop Country hits.

The Modern Pop genre is all about chasing the positive vibes. These songs are played at clubs or parties all over. They are easily recognizable and will get the crowd grooving. Pick one of these songs and you will get your guests to sing along with your entrance. 152ee80cbc
