Senior Pictures and Info

Senior photos are ALways due by Dec 1

Picture Requirements

• At a basic level, photos need to be school appropriate

• Can be indoors or outdoors 

• Photos will be cropped to fit the space we have on the page

For the photo dimensions/quality

• Photos should be in JPG, JPEG, HEIC, or PNG ONLY

• Please do not send a PDF of the image. We cannot place a PDF and will have to convert the PDF to an image--This will decrease the photo quality

• Please do not send a screenshot of the photo. Please send the image directly as the file in which you have it. Screenshots deteriorate the quality of the image

• We will let you know if we have any issues with the image when we place it on the page

Some basic guidelines for "senior pictures":

--no hard guidelines other than the picture needs to be appropriate (nothing offensive to anyone or anything in the image...you wouldn't THINK that would be an issue in senior pics, but it has been)...if you wouldn't do/wear what've you've got in your pictures in class then maybe choose a different picture.

--we do remind students/parents that different poses can make the student appear smaller in the book (ex: Head/shoulders pictures vs full body). 

--when we get the section put together we do let them look at it and request adjustments to how the picture is placed so if the picture looks too "small" based on the way we frame it, then we can adjust it.

--submitting pictures late or requesting a photo be swapped after the section is posted will result in a min $10 late fee
