She completed her undergraduate studies from Lahore, Pakistan in Applied Psychology and subsequently moved to Plymouth, UK, to complete an MSc in Clinical Psychology. She then spent years working with children, adolescents, young people and adults across Devon, London and the Midlands, dealing with mental health difficulties. Most recently, she completed her person centered training in Counselling from Keele University, in the UK. Her work is grounded in an interest in how modern social and cultural pressures shape psychological distress.
