The Practitioner's Place was born out of hopes to demystify psychotherapy, and unite mental health practitioners across the profession.
We believe that the modern world has placed an unprecendented expectation on individuals to be productive, hyper-consumerist and capitalistic leading to people focusing on appearing happy instead of actually being happy.
That's not a failure of individuals or an illness waiting to be diagnosed, that's a business model.
In our therapeutic space, we help clients understand the systems shaping their distress and use that insight to make more deliberate, self-directed choices about how they live.
