It is with great pride that the culmination of human history was announced - the launch of the Unity, humanity's first colony ship out and beyond, to worlds we have yet to imagine. Led by Captain John Garland, the mission fell foul of misfortune before it even arrived when the ship was struck by a meteorite and forced to awaken early. Amid the chaos of stowaways, the ruin of the ship and the assassination of the Captain, the surviving colonists split into ideological factions, each taking a lifepod and everything they could grab as they abandoned Unity for life on the surface.
Now, some years later, a satellite which was launched from the Unity has activated. This allows each of the factions to communicate freely during the narrow windows when its comet-like orbit passes close to the Planet. With war and distrust already a way of life for the colonists, will this usher in a new era of peace and prosperity or fuel a war which will determine who controls Planet now, and forever?
