The purpose of this project is to see whether a machine can be programmed to be moral. We are currently collecting data to program an algorithm that can predict a human's response within the confines of a moral-dilemma.
Our research aims are (1) to discover a novel algorithm with capabilities of mimicking difficult human decisions, (2) to understand the complexities between the way different disciplines think, and (3) to predict a participant's moral decisions within the confines of an autonomous vehicle moral dilemma.
