The Marginal Page is an independent, youth-led literary e-magazine that gives young writers a space to share their ideas, stories, and perspectives.

We publish fiction, non-fiction, essays, poetry, and literary reviews, bringing together writers with different voices, experiences, and ways of seeing the world.

Whether you're an established young writer or submitting for the first time, we believe good writing deserves to be read.

Our Editorial Review Process

Every submission to The Marginal Page is carefully considered by members of our editorial team. Where possible, submissions are reviewed without unnecessary identifying information, allowing the work itself to remain at the centre of the evaluation.

Our editors consider each piece thoughtfully and discuss submissions before reaching a final decision. We aim to maintain a fair, consistent, and considered editorial process, one that values originality, quality, and the individual voice of every writer.
