HEY, MUSIC LOVERS!

Get ready for another exciting LIVE Saturday afternoon on The Legend Factory!

Join us LIVE this Saturday, October 10, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM Eastern on Live365 for three hours packed with legendary music, great memories, fascinating trivia, and plenty of fun!

 OUR SPOTLIGHT ARTIST: THE BUOYS

Hailing from Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, The Buoys burst onto the national music scene in the early 1970s with their unforgettable Top 20 hit “Timothy,” written by Rupert Holmes. The group also scored with “Give Up Your Guns,” which became a major hit in Europe. The Buoys may have been short-lived, but their music certainly left a memorable mark on the early ’70s.

AND OUR BACK-TO-BACK DOUBLE PLAY FEATURES A FASCINATING MUSICAL MATCHUP!

“EVERYBODY’S TALKIN’”

Same song — two completely different sounds! One takes the song in a smooth, laid-back pop direction, while the other brings the unmistakable soul sound of Motown to Fred Neil’s classic composition.

First, we'll hear Nilsson’s version, released in June 1968. Then, we'll jump ahead to March 1970 for a very different interpretation by The Four Tops.
