Personality
Luroficíer himself was a gentle dragon; he was a sensible child who always followed instructions, always kind and helpful to anyone in need or when asked, despite the hardships of his childhood and teenhood.
But Theseus was something of the opposite. Over the years, under the tutelage of Erebryn, the dragon of yesteryear had become very different.
From the moment he was only an egg, Luroficíer was cherished by his father because of the egg’s unusual coloration. The old dragon desperately hoped that his long-awaited ambition would finally come true after countless failed experiments involving his other children.
When the young dragon hatched, he lived surrounded by hollow admiration and reluctant reverence from his blood relatives, while his father valued him only for the greed and benefit tied to the rare violet flame he was believed to possess. Yet when his true element awakened, everything became a living nightmare for the young dragon.
Even so, Luroficíer never became a cruel or bitter child. No matter the whispers, ridicule, mockery, or even bullying directed at him, he remained a dragon with a kind and compassionate heart, a rare difference within a family devoid of love. That immense kindness carried him through countless hardships from childhood into adulthood. He would help anyone in need and continued to love all living things, whether small creatures or even the wild grass growing by the roadside.
Luroficíer seemed incapable of truly hating anyone. His only goal was to regain the love he had lost from his father through his own efforts and determination. Yet in the end, all that awaited him was failure and the endless hatred of the father he treasured most.
One would think that after becoming Theseus, nothing remained of the virtues he once possessed, especially after the cruel shaping and manipulation of Erebryn. However, the dark dragon still retained a certain degree of respect for those who were powerful, elderly, or capable of proving themselves worthy.
Likewise, Theseus’ thirst for knowledge never faded. He constantly devoted himself to learning and discovering new knowledge every single day. Once a scholar, he continued to treasure wisdom and the records of history. It became the only passion that still burned within his shattered soul.
Beyond that, Theseus was extraordinarily disciplined in nearly every aspect of life, laws, training, work, and even eating and sleeping. Everything followed a strict structure and order. He deeply despised those who broke established rules and showed little mercy when punishing them. To the dark dragon, orders were absolute… though, on rare occasions, exceptions did exist.
Theseus maintained an almost unnatural level of discipline over himself. Though no one truly understood why, he never fell into common social vices such as smoking or excessive drinking, and perhaps most notably, matters of lust and desire.
Erebryn often claimed that he kept himself far too restrained, mocking him by saying that life could never be enjoyable if he continued living like a monk. To Erebryn, there was no harm in indulging once in a while.
Yet Theseus always rejected the purple dragon’s words. He deliberately distanced himself from the things he considered corruptive and sinful. That did not mean he was ignorant of them, quite the opposite. In fact, he understood them exceptionally well.
Theseus studied nearly everything in existence, from brewing alcohol to cooking, believing that any form of knowledge was worth learning so that he himself would remain without flaw or weakness.
Erebryn often called Theseus a rare genius unlike any other he had ever discovered, someone capable of mastering skills through books alone and performing them as though he had practiced them dozens, or even hundreds, of times before, despite never receiving formal training.
Theseus suffers from an extremely severe distrust of others, to the point where he rarely believes anyone’s words or actions. To him, everything is a lie, and everyone is trying to deceive him without ever being sincere. Part of this comes from his past, while another part was shaped by Erebryn, who constantly planted the idea into the dark dragon’s mind that everything in the world is artificial, and that the only being truly worthy of trust is oneself, no one and nothing else.
This becomes even worse when applied to love. Ever since becoming Theseus, aside from his endless passion for knowledge, he no longer possesses something that could truly be called love. He feels little compassion toward anyone or anything, though there are rare exceptions that even he cannot understand.
The disappointment and pain buried within him concealed everything he once was, leaving room only for what Erebryn desired him to become: cruel, emotionless, and ambitious. He had long forgotten the feeling of loving and being loved, a feeling lost ages ago. Though his heart still beats strongly within his chest, he continues to reject the very emotions that define a living being.
At times, Theseus also pushes himself far beyond his limits, staying awake through countless nights to handle his duties and responsibilities. Even so, he still maintains a certain level of care for his own health, forcing himself to rest according to the strict routines and rules he created for himself.
His overprotectiveness is another matter worth mentioning. This trait only truly emerges when it comes to Monarch. Theseus constantly wants the red dragon within his sight at all times. Not only does he dislike being disobeyed, he also desires to isolate Monarch from nearly everything else in the world.
What makes the situation even more troubling is the intensity of his possessiveness. Toward the young king, the only thing Theseus truly desires is for Monarch to belong to him completely, to obey every command given and fulfill every request spoken. This creates a massive barrier between the trust and emotions shared by the two of them. While Monarch cherishes freedom above all else, Theseus desires a world where everything remains confined within the boundaries and order established by himself alone.
History
Summary
“The Purest Flame”
Lurofier's egg hatch and how he grows up before awakening his element
4260 years - 4268 years
Lurofíer was born from Shinoreus’ obsession and ambition surrounding the legendary pure purple flame. The young dragon was the result of an contract with a family known for their purple fire and their powerful bloodline upon the battlefield, while also being the third child of the Elder Preserver of Calorath.
Although the egg’s coloration leaned more toward blue than purple, Shinoreus still believed this child was the one he had always desired, a gift granted to him by the Creator and their Ancestors. His false affection began the very moment Lurofíer’s egg hatched. The old dragon constantly reminded the young hatchling that he was his greatest treasure, a precious child destined to become the next Patriarch and heir of the Clan. Shinoreus planted those unrealistic hopes deep within Lurofíer’s innocent mind.
From that very beginning, wherever Lurofíer walked, he could feel nothing behind him except the disdainful and jealous gazes of the rest of the family. On many occasions, Shinoreus openly insulted and belittled his two eldest children, claiming they remained alive only because they were useful, because they contributed to the family, excelled in combat, and were skilled at killing. Meanwhile, he would tell Lurofíer that he should not concern himself with such “failed products.”
Kenneth, the eldest brother, was perhaps the one who hated him most within that hollow family. Kenneth despised Lurofíer from the moment he first saw the egg, and perhaps even until death, that hatred would continue to burn as fiercely as his own flames.
Yet even in such a family, there existed one exception. His second older brother, Pordo Sol, did not hate him. On the contrary, the orange Wyvern often sought opportunities to speak with Lurofíer whenever possible. It seemed that Pordo Sol saw something within him that the rest of the family refused to acknowledge. However, every attempt at closeness was ultimately obstructed by Shinoreus himself.
As a result, Lurofíer became increasingly trapped within the ugly and hollow affection of Shinoreus rather than accepting the genuine and precious care offered by his half-brother. During those seemingly joyful months, his father held grand feasts in his honor and brought him to many important gatherings and events, causing Lurofíer to believe more and more that his father’s love was genuine, not false like the rumors whispered by others.
“The Return of Darkness”
Having endured so much pain, Luroficier found new hope and became Theseus
4268 years - 4460 years
And then his days of happiness ended in just a few seconds of fate. It was not purple fire, it was blue. From that moment, he lost everything: his father’s love.
Shinoreus immediately flew into a rage when he did not get what he wanted, when his ambitions were left unfulfilled. From that point on, disappointment toward Lurofíer spread throughout the entire family. He began to be bullied and beaten by many members of his own household. No matter where he went, whenever his father stopped and looked at him, all Shinoreus saw was the same failure as his two older sons.
Lurofíer came to hate his own element, though he never had a choice in it. Shinoreus used him like every other child in the family, training and forcing him to become a weapon of war for the Clan. Yet once again, he disappointed his father.
He was never strong. He was not skilled in elemental control, magic, or combat. The only thing he truly had was his mind, exceptional intelligence and an excellent memory. Because of this, he devoted himself entirely to the study of history.
But Shinoreus did not need a scholar. What he needed was a mindless weapon, something that obeyed orders and excelled at killing, something that would stand out on the battlefield. Wealth had made Shinoreus more powerful than almost anyone in the Council, alongside the strength he had built over many years for his family. Every attempt Lurofíer made to earn his father’s love ended in failure.
Then one day, Shinoreus gave him another chance. Since he had failed, perhaps his offspring would be useful instead. And so Lurofíer was forced into a reproductive contract while still underage. The woman involved in the contract was much older than him, which filled him with guilt, but he had no choice. All he could do was obey.
Hope burned once again within Lurofíer. If his child could earn his father’s love, then he would do everything he could for them, and unlike Shinoreus, he would love his child unconditionally.
But he failed. Again. Too many times.
And perhaps this time, everything would come to an end.
The two eggs that were born were not purple. That alone was already a heavy sorrow in his heart. Then Shinoreus deepened that wound by crushing both eggs with his own hands. The pain of a father-to-be shattered him completely. How could anyone be so cruel? He was left utterly alone amidst the laughter and mockery of his own half-siblings and who call family. He wished someone would stand up for him.
When his eyes accidentally met Pordo Sol’s, the brother he had always admired, the one who treated him kindly, the orange wyvern simply stood there… and then left with Kenneth. Lurofíer collapsed into despair, crying endlessly. Why? Why did no one understand him? Why did no one truly love him? Was everything just a lie, a cycle of hope and betrayal? Had he done something wrong?
With his wounds still bleeding, Lurofíer spent many years wandering the night markets, surrounded by glowing lights, trying to remember the days when he was once happy with his father, when Shinoreus would buy him anything he wanted without ever refusing.
Then one day, he met a Fädynol crow with unusual black-and-white feathers. The crow was named Zehir, and he was older than him. From that day on, the crow became like a second father and a teacher. Lurofíer shared everything with Zehir and treated him as family.
In the years that followed, he continued pursuing his passion for knowledge and history, trying to keep a gentle smile on his face and kindness in his heart. Occasionally, he met Frederick, the current King of their kind. They spoke briefly, though Frederick was often too busy to spend time with strangers. Even so, Lurofíer respected him deeply, a Leader both strong and compassionate, unlike his own cruel father.
He also heard many rumors and legends about a source of power atop the highest mountain in the western continent. He did not know why, but he somehow found information about its location. It was said to be a thousand-year-old relic from the era after the First Dark War, perhaps another chance to earn his father’s approval. Despite his doubts, he could not resist the temptation of that longing for paternal love. If the legend were true, it might give him the power his father always desired.
For decades afterward, he devoted himself entirely to reaching the sacred mountain of Hāumÿdpnú'î. Even though Zehir strongly opposed the journey, Lurofíer ignored the warnings, a decision that would become the greatest mistake of his life.
Then, in the year 4460, when he turned 200 years old and reached adulthood, he finally arrived at the mountain. Strangely, his journey had been too smooth, almost unreal. Nothing stopped him. Even the ape, the guardians of the ancient site seemed blinded by something, and that allowing him to slip through unnoticed.
Deep inside, he was drawn into a strange dimension. Only darkness surrounded him. A voice echoed within his mind, tempting him. When Lurofíer accepted, a thick black mist surged into his body. He had never experienced pain like this before. It was indescribable, the agony of his body transforming, shedding its old form into something entirely different. A form that was no longer him. A power that was no longer his.
Power surged through him, and so did another consciousness. From that day onward, he was different. He was no longer Lurofíer… at least on the surface. But deep inside, he remained the same, kind, fragile, and gentle. He realized that Erebryn, the God of Creation, now resided within his mind. At first, he was terrified, but everything would soon change. He would prove his strength to his family. Under Erebryn’s teachings, he would no longer cling to love. He would no longer chase something he could never have. Instead, he would create change. He would reshape everything.
Though he was not yet the strongest, still learning to control and adapt to his new power, he would one day reach the peak. And when he did, no one would dare face him alone. He would become the deepest fear in the hearts of his enemies, and all would be forced to bow before his power.
At that moment, the Second Dark War officially began. The servants of darkness once again rose, obeying every command of their revered Master and their new Lord. When he returned to his homeland, what surprised Lurofíer most was that Frederick still recognized him, even though he no longer had his original form, his voice had changed, and even his name was no longer Lurofíer.
It was now Theseus.

Abilities
Current Mastery: Grade 11, Inconstant
At first, when he was still Lurofíer, Theseus’ elemental mastery was very low, only reaching Grade 2. However, after becoming Theseus, and through the influence of Erebryn, his mastery steadily increased over time, though he still had to learn control and maintain constant training and discipline.
In the present day, he is recognized as the strongest dragon in the world, and the only known being to have reached Grade 11.
Current Mastery: Grade 10, Miraculous
Alongside his elemental power, his magic was also influenced, eventually reaching Grade 10 over time, though at a slower rate than his elemental mastery. He learns extremely quickly and has mastered many powerful dark spells taught by Erebryn.
However, he never managed to learn how to meditate and replenish Ejterna more efficiently, unlike Monarch or Tiberius. This is largely because, at his current level of mastery, he has never once fully exhausted his own Ejterna reserves.
Spell Type
Levitation: TBD

Current Mastery: Grade 0, Nil
As a Half Fenrigar Dragon, Theseus is unable to use Chi. He himself also has no interest in martial arts training, preferring instead to focus on pure combat using his natural weapons such as his teeth, claws, as well as his elemental abilities and magic.
Over many years of combat, Theseus has developed a strong and well-conditioned body with lean, defined muscles. Constantly training himself, he always maintains his body in peak physical condition. He can be considered highly resistant, as he has never once been observed falling ill.
