Q: What types of toys do you recommend mixing with Persona-centric play?

Try accessories and clothing such as masks, wigs, and costumes!  One fun thing to do is to acquire a new toy or costume and to build out a new persona around it.  That can also give your partner(s) a good indication of what type of play you are interested in during scenes where you have that toy or outfit.

Q: If I want to get started with creating a new Persona, how do I do that?

The best recommendation we have heard is "roll up a D&D character."  Okay, so maybe you don't need to go through the bit with the dice (though if that is your thing, rock on!), but choose a backstory, an occupation, and a goal for your character, as well as some strengths and weaknesses.  We also know a lot of people who found their feet through imitating a character they like in a story or movie.  The key concept is about freeing yourself to do the things that the persona would do, not necessarily what you would choose yourself.

Q: Do I have to be a sub to have a Persona?

Certainly not!  In fact, a lot of our users report enjoying planning a Persona-scene with their partner(s), and giving feedback to each other on the roles they will take.
