September 2024
The Tiger and his cub appear.
Cameron and Camille Miller stop by for a visit
and are put to work painting a portion of the background.
October 2024
Work continues on down to the floor.
The trunk of books, Anteater and a couple butterflies appear.
November 2024
Work is completed along the stairs (Insects, Frog)
before the scaffold goes up and work begins on the Red-crested parrots.
December 2024
Work is completed on the parrots,
and continues into the stretch of landscape beyond the jungle...
January 2025
Lands and seas beyond the jungle take shape.
Toucans and a python appear.
February 2025
Dolphins, seagulls, crabs, the African Queen, warthogs, and hummingbirds appear.
March 2025
The crabs are completed and the Great White Egret appears.
Blending finished portions with the new sections of the mural.
April 2025
Back up on the scaffold, the pygmy marmosets and macaws appear.
May 2025
With the macaws completed, the chameleon and sloths appear.
New sections of the mural are sketched on the wall.
June 2025
Back on the floor, the monitor lizard, lillypads, flamingoes, fish, and alligator appear.
July 2025
The alligator is completed, as the manatees, more fish and underwater scene takes shape.
Dr. Greta (Wendelin) Perel sketches the elephants on the wall.
Iris Osborne and Keilla Miller lend a helping hand by painting backgrounds.
August 2025
The underwater scene is completed, and as work begins on the elephants.
September 2025
The elephants are completed. Back on the scaffold, the gorilla family appears.
October 2025
The gorillas are completed, and work begins on the final portion of the wall
with the giraffes and black panther.
A poem appears, and the orangutans are sketched.
November 2025
The black panther, orangutans, and capybaras are completed.
Work on the hippos begins.
December 2025
Finishing touches. Coral, the mice,
and the tiger skull (a memento mori) appear.
Work is completed on December 8.
584 days and over 1,400 hours of continuous work (May 2024–December 2025).
