At Eisenhof, our breeding program is dedicated to passing on one ultimate trait: a trainable, cooperative mind. Our goal is to produce level-headed horses that are versatile enough to be ridden safely by amateurs, yet talented enough to step confidently into a show ring.
1. Breeding Eligibility & Genetic Screening
To maintain the integrity of our lines, Eisenhof strictly differentiates between environmental trauma and genetic temperament.
The Trauma Exception: A "difficult" horse currently in rehab can be bred if their behavioral issues are proven to be environmental (e.g., past abuse or neglect) rather than genetic.
The Genetic Disqualification: If a horse's pedigree shows a recurring pattern of severe temperament issues, they will be retired from breeding even after successfully completing rehab.
The Rule of Thumb: Having one parent or a line of traumatized ancestors sent to Eisenhof is acceptable. However, if all four grandparents required rehabilitation for behavioral issues, the lineage will be assessed as having a genetic temperament flaw and will be barred from the breeding program.
2. Bloodline Goals & Discipline Crosses
We purposely breed our graduates to match performance with a stellar work ethic. We encourage crossing disciplines to create versatile athletes:
Endurance × Eventing: For stamina, heart, and bravery.
Eventing × Dressage: Perfect for elevating a Dressage horse that needs a bit more spark or a sturdier mind.
The Goal: A sane, sound partner ready for the amateur or professional rings alike.
3. Outside Stud Services & Public Breeding
Eisenhof proudly opens its pedigreed graduates to outside horses, even those with no official pedigree who might be turned away elsewhere.
The Cost (Foal Swap): We do not charge currency for breeding. Instead, we trade life for life. If you breed to an Eisenhof horse, we ask for a foal from one of your horses in return.
Splitting the Crop: When a breeding occurs, you must decide whether you want to keep the resulting foal or request a re-breed. We want to ensure you get the foal you desire, but Eisenhof retains the right to one foal from the partnership to continue our training lines.
Foal Characteristics: All foal stats and designs are randomized by the system to simulate true genetics, unless the player explicitly requests a custom-designed bred foal.
4. Naming Conventions
To honor the legacy of their trainable minds and track the lineage through the roleplay community, all foals carrying Eisenhof bloodlines must feature the suffix IRN at the end of their registered name.
Example: Desert Storm IRN
