January 5, 2025: What a gig! In case you missed it, the boys filled the Brewhouse on Saturday night and a good time was had by all. In what turned out to be a reunion of sorts, countless decades-old friends and fans turned out, along with a surprise visit from Jeff's daughter from Santa Cruz. When the crowd called for an encore, the band had no more material, but a brief huddle led them to play a song they all knew. Pink Cadillac thus closed out the night. A big thank you goes out to Brewhouse owner Andrew!
The boys are looking to book a gig or two over the summer, and another recording session appears likely in the near future. Stay tuned!
January 1, 2025: Happy New Year! The boys will be kicking things off a month from tonight with a show at the Brewhouse at San Juan Capistrano. Rob will be opening the evening with his solo act at 6 p.m., followed by the Hidden Factor about 90 minutes later. The boys hope to see you there!
May 19, 2024: More big news! Although the boys' song No Slowing Down slipped three spots to No. 24 on the Euro Indie Chart this week, they just landed the headline story on the euroindiemusic.com site. What a rave review! Perhaps this will give them a boost in next week's poll? And keep looking for more tour dates...they're coming.
MAY 12, 2024: No Slowing Down is up to No. 21 on the Euro Indie Chart in just three weeks. Can the boys crack the Top 20?
MAY 7, 2024: Big news! No Slowing Down, the title track of the boys' new EP, has risen to No. 38 on the Euro Indie Chart in just two weeks. Several potential gigs are in the works, so things are going well for the Hidden Factor. More news to come soon.

MARCH 14, 2024: MORE TOUR DATES? The boys were received well last Friday night and it seems there is a demand for more live gigs. There are several developing possibilities, including a show in Kansas. Please check for more info in the coming weeks.

NEW: LIVE IN ANAHEIM! The boys haven't played a live gig since around the time Taylor Swift was born, but they have just lined up their first show in over 30 years. They'll be playing at Vibe in Anaheim on Friday, March 8, at 7 pm. The band hopes to see you there. Be sure to reach out to a band member for presale tickets!

DEC. 14, 2023: FIVE-SONG EP NO SLOWING DOWN IS NOW AVAILABLE: Today's the day! Check out the band's first new material in over 30 years. Search for the Hidden Factor on Spotify, YouTube and all other major streaming platforms.
NOV. 1, 2023: After a 30-plus year haitus, the boys have been back at it. Though more sophisticated than their music of the good old days, the new material will still have a familiar ring, as the 60s-influenced power pop sound will be detectable beneath the sounds of their more recent influences. All original members appear on the EP, which will feature the songs No Slowing Down (Jason Mills), Brother (Jeff Wollard), Hole in My Heart (Jim Miele), Something in Her Way (Rob Gallas) and She's a River (Jeff Wollard). Produced by guitarist/songwriter Mills, listeners will be impressed by the quality of the recording, especially when compared to their 80s material.
Where have the boys been? Two went on to become accomplished professional musicians (Mills, Gallas), two became public servants (Jeff Wollard, Todd Wollard), and one went into private sector work (Miele). All continue to play their musical instruments of choice.
