Grim Rules
NOTE: All but the last question (Letter of Intent) are OOC (out-of-character).
1. Copy the following template:
Grim Application For <Insert Name>
1. How did you hear about The Grim? Do you know anyone in The Grim?

3. What aspect of the game most interests you (RP, PVE, PVP, etc)?
4. What days/times do you typically play this character?
<Insert Letter of Intent here. This is your character’s IC introduction to The Grim and method of communicating their interest in joining. This will give us a lead into initiating RP with you.>

1. Register at https://thegrim.org/forum/ucp.php?mode=register. Set your username to match the name of the character you want to join The Grim. Check the e-mail you used to register the account for an activation link. Once your account has been activated, you should have access to make posts.
2. Navigate to https://thegrim.org/forum/viewforum.php?f=100
3. Click the NEW TOPIC button.
4. Set the SUBJECT to your character's name (i.e. Tisk, Greggor, etc)
5. Paste the copied template into the form.
6. Answer the questions (if this takes a while, I would suggest filling it out in a text editor first, or at a minimum, copy the contents of your post prior to hitting the Submit button to make sure the forum time-out doesn't eat your app).
7. Preview and Submit.
If you're in a hurry, let us know on Discord. "Hey, this is <your character's name>. I'm just letting you know I filled out the application."
Otherwise, you should get a reply on the forums within 24 hours or so.
Feel free to whisper an Inquisitor in game (Tisk or Reaver) to set up a time to meet, or come to our next Inquisition (usually Sundays at 6pm server time (PST) in the Brill graveyard. If you do not contact us either in-game or in Discord, we will attempt to look for you, but if we don't see you in game after a week or so, we'll post something on your app to try to coordinate meeting. If we are still unsuccessful at making contact with you, we'll assume the app has been withdrawn and close it. Discord really is the best way to contact us out-of-game.
