A string of stores from Florida to South Korea were recently disturbed by a most elusive specter, an individual whose fingertips left no trace, whose footprints led nowhere, and whose eye for gemstones rivaled that of any certified appraiser. Yaorong Wan, the Jewel Specter, asked an employee at a jewelry store to see some pieces. He left without buying anything. A week later, a diamond ring, valued at a quarter-million dollars, was missing and had been replaced by a cubic zirconia stone. The Police, slightly baffled, didn't fully understand what to make of all this. The Great Detective did however note the thief was someone in the store and the crime took place during a scheduled routine patrol. Since there were no security breaks, other than the theft, one should only check the footage. This led to the Jewel Specter's arrest, but his attorney declined to comment. "This means one thing." Curious, people listened to what the Great Detective had to say. "The attorney knew something about the case and the Jewel Specter, but to preserve their reputation, as well as a relatively clean court case, they didn't share it with anyone.
