It was a bitter winter day in December, 2021, when he had gotten word of a shooting that occurred at 400 block of Fulton Avenue. To others, especially Police, it appeared as a mere act of urban violence; to him, it was a riddle with precision in every element. The suspect was noted to have fled into a nearby residence in an attempt to escape the scene. The Police, thinking they'd solved the case, took two people into custody. For the Great Detective, the solution was yet to come; however, he did already have 8 theories. The victim, as noted by the Great Detective and the Police, was no other than David Desmond. The Police initially dismissed my insights, trying to get me to wait for the news report, but that didn't stop me from doing what I do best. "Brilliant," he muttered. "the Police think they've solved the case but have yet to figure out the why and who." He's narrowed it to one theory for the why and two theories for the who. The Police then took Daminyae Montreze Harris, better known as the Fulton Menace, into custody, but per their words, "We have yet to figure out the motive." "Elementary," he said, "and rather obvious." Confused the Police asked what he meant. So he said this, "The Fulton Menace obviously wasn't some random nutjob or junkie as most people would think. To pull off a murder, temporarily get away with it, and still after being caught have all of you baffled, means one thing. The killer is above-average intelligence, knew what he was doing, and slightly planned it out. The scene is too clean for him not to have conducted it that way. Hence, the Fulton Menace did it out of opportunity, but even more importantly...hatred." This means that the Great Detective had answered what the Police couldn't.
