Children's Education

 The First Church in Weymouth offers a weekly Sunday School class during worship. Run by our Christian Education committee, this Sunday School is offered through the volunteerism of dedicated Christians, who believe in the importance of educating our children about the God, the Gospel, the Bible, and what it means to live a life of faith.

At worship on Sundays, children are dismissed to the Sunday School room during the first hymn, where two teachers will lead their class. Because our Sunday School is currently small, we only have one class for elementary schoolers. Their education consists of lessons, crafts, games, prayer journals, and more. On the first Sunday of each month, children will return to service for communion at the end of the service.
