We are currently studying the book of Acts, the fifth book of the New Testament and the first immediately after the Gospels. This book chronicles the early years of the Church as it was born in Jerusalem and spread across the Mediterranean, following figures like Peter and Paul.
Reading Scripture is not meant to be done in a vacuum. We believe strongly in gathering to read the Word and discuss it. Our weekly Bible study meets on Wednesdays, with two classes offered at 2:00 and 6:00pm in our hall downstairs.
Whether you are a church member or a visitor, a Bible expert or a novice, weak in your faith or strong, we invite you to join us, ask questions, and talk! You are welcome to bring your own Bible (any translation accepted), or borrow one of our NIV Bibles while you're here.
Just before Bible study each week, time is made available for people to come and just pray. For about half an hour, beginning at 1:30, a few folks will get together in the small hall to pray for the world, for the church and our town, for ourselves, and for others. We encourage you to join us sometime if you are interested! You do not need to attend Bible study afterward in order to participate.
