This activity is designed to help kids understand that if you don’t get your feelings out, they build up in your brain and you have no more room for anything else.
Directions:
Fill your bot’s head to the top with pom pom’s (these represent feelings). Shake your bot and watch the feelings explode! The explosion represents when you are so full of feelings, you can’t take it anymore and you just explode.
The purpose of The Feelings Bot is to help kids explain their feelings. This activity is designed to help kids learn to identify feelings and start learning how to talk about them. A lot of kids don’t know how to talk about their feelings, so they can use their feelings bot to show how they are feeling.
Directions:
Pick a color pom pom and a feeling to go with it. Fill your bot with that color only to help express how you are feeling. That can lead to an adult discussion to help express feelings.
This activity shows that once your child has learned how to identify their feelings and to begin talking about them it creates space in their brain for other new feelings!

Each time that you talk about a feeling, remove a few pom pom’s from the bot’s head. When you talk about your feelings they shrink down and you clear space in your brain for other new feelings!
This activity shows that now more space has been created in your child's brain (by talking about their feelings), they have room to think about new feelings!
Directions:
Choose any new feeling or idea that you would like to think about: family, friends, school, sports, anything! Draw each idea on a small piece of paper, open up the new feelings ball and add the drawing inside. Close up the ball and add it to your feelings bot head!
This activity allows kids to dive deep into their feelings and begin analyzing the relationship between experiences and feelings.
Directions:
Choose a pom pom feelings ball from your head. Name the feeling. Then discuss the experience that brought on the feeling and the feeling itself.
