Artist Statement

The work displayed on this site is a compilation of shoots, projects, and assignments that have been undertaken over the course of the 2021 Fall school term. There is an emphasis on landscape photography and inanimate objects. I have a strong appreciation for photography that can take simple, everyday objects and create an image that leaves the viewer marveling. I envision photography telling a story. Photography is a journey that I am just embarking on and I hope to grow more in my ability to tell a story through a pictures.

The final project Early Morning seeks to capture the idea of life being mundane or routine for some while at the same time... even the same instant, other's lives are turned completely upside down.
