The Crusher is a wonderful place to visit, and is a great walk off Rhoda or Pawsey Streets. For my Eagle Scout project, I have held a trash clean-up, widened the trails, and brought the history of the Crusher back to the people of Houghs Neck. My efforts have been to make the Crusher a more family friendly park, compared to the hang out and mess that it was before. The rank of Eagle Scout is the highest honor that can be achieved in Scouts, and only about four percent of all Scouts make it to this point. My name is Jake Gordon, I am from Troop 6 Quincy, and this is my Eagle Scout Project.
Research began in 2017, and the work was completed in the spring of 2018.
The Troop 6 Quincy Boy Scouts have been serving the community of Houghs Neck and beyond since 1930, and are sponsored by the Houghs Neck Congregational Church.
