The Cotton Exchange Tavern
Watch the ships roll in and out along River Street as you dine inside a former cotton warehouse from Savannah's early days.
Inviting and friendly, The Cotton Exchange favors hearty portions of fresh-caught seafood served grilled, broiled or fried as well as a fine selection of steaks, well-stuffed sandwiches and giant salads.
The views and atmosphere might inspire you to linger, and you're always invited to take your time — the Cotton Exchange is a fine place to while away the afternoon over good food and cocktails.

"This place deserves all of the high ratings you see here. The drinks were refreshing and the food delicious. Shrimp Salad sandwich is my new favorite. We all ordered the house made potato salad and really enjoyed it. Reuben was piled high, as well as the BLT. Clean restrooms too."
" Found this place just walking along River street, it was such a great surprise! We were seated immediately and orders taken right away. We had clam chowder for an appetizer. The sangria was amazing. I had shrimp salad and my husband had the shrimp po boy. Both were amazing!! Our waiter took time to share some of the history of the building. Very cool to eat lunch in such a historic location. Definitely recommend!"
