Hi! My name is Lila and I am currently a junior at Rock Canyon High School. I am very passionate about science and a future career in the STEM or medical field. At Rock Canyon, I am involved in swimming, lacrosse, NHS, SNHS, NEHS, Rho Kappa, Mu Alpha Theta, Math Club, HOSA, and speech and debate. I also love club swim, volunteering, coaching youth swim team, and lifeguarding outside of school. I am so excited to get to work with my amazing group members and mentors to research EO771 cells this year in biotech!!
Hi there! I'm Brandon Panza, a junior at Rock Canyon High School. I'm really excited to be part of the biotech research class this year and to have the opportunity to work with EO771 cell culture. I'm passionate about science and medicine, and I hope to pursue a career in that field.
Outside the classroom, I'm a proud member of NEHS, SNHS, NESA, and NSDA. My passion for music extends beyond the classroom as well, and I'm a dedicated trumpet player of the RCHS Marching Band, RCHS Symphonic Band, and a brass band with my friends. I was attracted to the field of medicine and biotechnology because just as music and musicianship have the power to evoke emotions, inspire, and connect people, medicine can also profoundly enrich people’s well-being. I'm excited to contribute to this field through my involvement in the biotech research group and further my understanding of the potential of biotechnology to develop innovative solutions that can transform healthcare and improve countless lives.
