Proud to Be Nationally and Locally Recognized

The troop is incredibly grateful for the recognition we have received for our efforts. In 2024, we received the Alaska Spirit of Youth for our outreach and education efforts and earned our Girl Scout Silver Awards. In 2025, our project was nationally recognized by both the Carnegie Young Leaders Institute and the Aspen Institute, providing funds to continue our work on the BioGlitter Initiative.  In 2026, we received the  President's Environmental Youth Award, the Project Green Schools Award, and several members of the troop traveled to Washington D.C. to present at the Points of Light National Service Learning Conference.
