The Continuation of Acts (1)

Paul's Journeys

Acts 13:1 Now there were in Antioch, in the local church, prophets and teachers: Barnabas and Simeon, who was called Niger, and Lucius the Cyrenian, and Manaen, the foster brother of Herod the tetrarch, and Saul. 2 And as they were ministering to the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, Set apart for Me now Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them

Acts 13:5 And when they were in Salamis, they announced the word of God in the synagogues of the Jews. And they also had John as their attendant.

Acts 13:13 And putting out to sea from Paphos, Paul and his companions came to Pergas of Pamphylia; and John departed from them and returned to Jerusalem.

Acts 13:8 But Elymas the magician (for so his name is translated) opposed them, seeking to turn the proconsul away from the faith.

Acts 13:45 But when the Jews saw the crowds, they were filled with jealousy and contradicted the things being spoken by Paul and blasphemed

Acts 14:2 But the Jews who were disobedient stirred up and ill-affected the minds of the Gentiles against the brothers

Acts 20:29 I know that after my departure fierce wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock. 30 And from among you yourselves men will rise up, speaking perverted things to draw away the disciples after them

Serving our own generation

Acts 16:25 And about midnight Paul and Silas, while praying, sang hymns of praise to God; and the prisoners were listening to them.

The Name (in Me)

With the Word

Acts 17:2 And according to his custom Paul went in to them, and on three Sabbaths he reasoned with them from the Scriptures

Acts 17:11 Now these people were more noble than those in Thessalonica, for they received the word with all eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily to see whether these things were so
