Christ's Heavenly Ministry

His birth - Luke 1:35 And the angel answered and said to her, The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; therefore also the holy thing which is born will be called the Son of God

His (earthly) ministry - Luke 4:18-19 "The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to announce the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to proclaim release to the captives, and recovery of sight to the blind, and to send away in release those who are oppressed, 19 To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, the year of jubilee."

His death to accomplish God's redemption - Luke 23:42-43 And he said, Jesus, remember me when You come into Your kingdom. 43 And He said to him, Truly I say to you, Today you shall be with Me in Paradise

His resurrection - Luke 24:6 He is not here but has been raised. Remember how He spoke to you while He was still in Galilee. 

His coming as the (indwelling) Spirit - John 20:22 And when He had said this, He breathed into them and said to them, Receive the Holy Spirit.


His training the disciples - Acts 1:3 To whom also He presented Himself alive after His suffering by many irrefutable proofs, appearing to them through a period of forty days and speaking the things concerning the kingdom of God

His charging the disciples - Acts 1:4, 8 And as He met together with them, He charged them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the promise of the Father, which, He said, You heard from Me; 8 But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, and you shall be my witnesses both in Jerusalem and in Judea and Samaria and unto the uttermost part of the earth. 

His ascension - Acts 1:9 And when He had said these things, while they were looking on, He was lifted up, and a cloud took Him away from their sight
