Step Two

STEP TWO: Came to believe that a Power Greater than Ourselves could restore us to sanity.

1. Read Nicotine Anonymous's  The Serenity Prayer for Nicotine Users

2. Read Our Policy of Openness: Our Higher Power As We Each May Come to Understand 

3. Read in Step Two, Nicotine Anonymous. The Book  Also, Read from the questionnaire in our book, "What was it like?"

4. Read AA's We Agnostics.  This passage gave me a start in finding God>  Where to Find God. Before that, I had yet to find my HP.

5. Answer and record in your journal on  Step 2 Questions 

6. In your Journal, write an essay on your experience with your higher power. Tell how you see your higher power today.  What do you agree with and do not agree with? Also, write about any experiences you have had with your higher power.   Please remember there are no right or wrong answers.  It is just your concept in writing. 

SECOND STEP PRAYER

God, I’m standing at the turning point right now. Please give me your protection and care as I abandon myself to you and give up my old ways and ideas for today.
