Project Revive was an idea originated for my final year project module. It was inspired by my Internship experience at Unilever Sri Lanka as an IT Supply Chain Intern who worked both remotely and on-site, and who experienced certain shortcomings in the employee health and safety management systems in place during viral pandemics as well as for long term employee health evaluation.
This project aims to analyze the inefficiencies of managing employee health and safety during viral epidemics and to design, develop, test, and evaluate a progressive web based software that provides future risk predictions in the workplace using real-time internal COVID-19 data for better decision-making while allowing to efficiently track overall employee health and wellbeing throughout employment.
Project PetBuddy was my first-ever academic group project at IIT foundation program. But one of the projects which grabbed the attention of many and allowed us to receive great achievements.
It's main concept is to provide a platform to connect pet lovers with service providers and cater every needs of their pets to their fingertips. These includes all pet needs from pet food, accessories, shelters, trainers, veterinarians, pet walkers, pool of pet friendly hotels and restaurants and what not.
DigiFit is a solution which digitally transforms the process of fashion production to wear, invented to diminish a vast majority of the concerns in the physical fashion market by introducing consumers to a digital era of fashion products for online content. Purchasing a new design for all new online content will be more cheap, easy and environment friendly with DigiFit. This solution aims to provide a wide range of functionalities such as ability for 3D cloth and accessory designers to sell their brands while customers can purchase it as a digital asset and add them to the digital wardrobe, AR fittings, NFT based purchases, a platform to connect social media fashion influencers with 3D cloth and accessory designers etc.
A smart dustbin that detect the garbage type added by the user of our mobile app which rewards points for proper garbage disposal. Garbage bins will be placed initially in the beach areas of the Colombo coast, where sensors will be fixed initially in each bin for plastic/polythene, to detect what type of waste is added into the dustbin and also the quantity of the garbage added. The public is expected to install our GreenIt mobile application and scan the QR code imprinted in the garbage bins and connect to the bins through the application. Users are allowed to maintain their own personal profile in the application. When adding correct garbage into the respective bins, the sensors will scan the garbage added and will add points into the user’s profile according to the correct type of garbage added to the correct bin and the quantity added. Using these points collected, users shall be able to redeem the points in form of discounts or many other advantages from partner stores/ parties and also from our “GreenIt” products.
This way, public will be much enthusiastic and passionate to keep the surrounding clean, as something simple as disposing garbage can gain them benefits. And since public will be much keen on adding correct garbage to the correct bin, the recycling process will be much convenient. We were able to present this project at hackathons and receive great appreciations for this project.

With the help of our website, BuildingBloX, anyone can find tips, stores, expertise, materials, with just one click from the various industries such as construction, furniture, interior deco’s, tiling and much more. This project was also capable to bringing us an achievement at Cutting edge competition.
