2024-2025 Co-Principal Investigator, “Geo-spatial analysis of Tourist movement and demand patterns in Hill Stations of Tamil Nadu” This research supports SDG goals by promoting sustainable tourism (SDG 8 & 12) through data-driven planning, enhancing infrastructure and inclusive economic growth (SDG 9), and evaluating environmental impacts (SDG 13 & 15). It aids policymakers in balancing tourism development with community well-being and environmental conservation.
2021-2025 Co-Project Investigator, “Women, Water, and Work: A Study on the Economic Empowerment of Women through the Jal Jeevan Mission in Rural Tamil Nadu”. funded by Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), Govt of India. For the period of 12 Months. This project explores how access to clean water (SDG 6) enhances women's participation in economic activities, driving gender equality (SDG 5) and decent work opportunities (SDG 8) in rural communities.
2023 – 2024 Project Investigator, “An Analysis on the Impact and Performance of Start-ups in Empowering the Youths of South India”. Funded by Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), Govt of India. Conducted applied research to examine how start-ups are transforming youth employment and entrepreneurship in South India. By examining the role of startups in fostering youth employment and entrepreneurship (SDG 8), this research supports innovation-driven economic growth (SDG 9) and enhances skills and education (SDG 4) for sustainable career development.
2023 – 2024 Co-principal Investigator, “Psychological Impact on Children Affected by Loss of parent/s Due to COVID-19 in Tamil Nadu” Capacity: Funded by State Child Protection Society – Department of Social Defence, Tamilnadu. Engaged in applied research focusing on the mental health and resilience of children facing parental loss due to the pandemic. Addressing mental health and resilience (SDG 3), this study focuses on vulnerable children, contributing to reducing inequalities (SDG 10) by advocating for social support mechanisms.
2022 – 2023 Co-principal Investigator, Mental Health and Well Being –Human Being Is Not a Resource, Is A Possibility, Capacity: , Funded by SEED money – Vellore Institute of Technology, Chennai. This project emphasizes the importance of mental well-being (SDG 3) in personal and professional settings, supporting workforce productivity and sustainable economic growth (SDG 8).
