Lent begins on February 18 with Ash Wednesday, a sacred season that invites us to slow down, reflect, and draw closer to God.

This year, I invite you to join an online Lenten devotional and six-week study titled "Give Us This Day Our Daily Bread".

Hunger is inevitable in this world. Christ knows that his followers will remain hungry until all are fed. Perhaps this is why Christ comes to us as the bread of life, and why Christ’s followers gather around the table.

This devotional invites us to reflect on food and hunger as a spiritual practice:

• What do you hunger for?

• What feeds your soul?

• How do you feed others?

Every meal and every table can become an opportunity to grow in faith.

The six-week study will be hosted online by Rev. Dr. Christine Jerrett on CHURCHx, and a study guide is included for both in-person and online groups.
