We have two PhD positions available for the August 2026 batch. Get in touch for preliminary inquiries.
We invite applicants from ambitious and motivated candidates interested in working with us. Some useful information for applicants is given below-
Please ensure to include your CV with details on subjects studied, CGPA/marks, prior internships, or research experience in the email.
Please avoid using AI and generative tools to write the emails. It may be difficult to write that first email for the internship, but it is your own voice that we would like to hear. Remember when everyone uses AI tools to write emails, they all look exactly alike making you drown in the crowd rather than stand out.
While applying for the internship, please include the details on the time and duration of the intended internship.
Some resources tailored for the Indian scenario to guide you about writing emails, CV, cover letters and motivation statements are listed below-
this blog written by Dr Vishu Guttal from IISC on how to write emails for positions
this blog by Dr Karishma Kaushik et al on how to apply effectively for internships
these slides from Dr Nishita Desai from TIFR that give a nice primer on the skills necessary for a research career
Important Note- Emails starting with "Dear Sir", "Respected Sir" or "Respected Sir/Mam" are not responded.
