Submission Guidelines & Eligibility

• Eligible Participants: Surgeons within 10 years of sub-specialty training in Colorectal Surgery or MIS.

• Case Requirements: One unedited 1080p video of a Sigmoidectomy or High Anterior Resection (cT1-3).

• Video Specifications:

  • Resolution: 1080p (Full HD)

  • Max Duration: 4 Hours

Mandatory Technical Criteria

Must include D2/D3 lymphadenectomy, intracorporeal anastomosis, and strict anonymity.

Rewards & Key Deadlines

• Sponsored Trip to Japan: The highest-scoring surgeon wins a trip to WCES 2026 and JSES 2026.

• Presentation Opportunity: Winners present their video to the MESDA and JSES committees.

• DEADLINE: 19 JULY 2026
