Being a digital citizen means that one has an online profile. Ideally, one would prefer that their profile remain private. That is, the profile is between the host and the account owner, and no third party is involved and has no access to profile owner's information. This is termed digital privacy.
The occurrence of invasion of privacy is becoming more often. Digital accounts are hacked and the privacy of the account owner gets leaked for the whole digital community to see. Big problems begin when it is shared online by different individuals. Hacking is illegal and irresponsible behaviour in digital spaces and therefore must be avoided by all means.
Recommendations on how to prevent the invasion of your privacy:
Find a browser that respects your privacy.
Use a non-tracking search engine.
Ensure that your passwords are not easily predictable (avoid consecutive numbers, your name, and your date of birth).
Use a trusted virtual private network (VPN).
