Since September of 2025, I’ve been hyperfixated on a Anthropomorbphic mascot from the 90s named "Bubsy". why you might add? Idk, he just appealed to me, the histroy is kinda interesting, but i think where i caught on interes was the lack of care and love this guy got. sure he had a good first game, but other than that, Bubsy's output either came from developers who were under pressured, or just flat out didn't care.

Luckily Bubsy 4D looks fantastic and I look forward to playing it, however, I didn't stop there! I decided to develop my own interpretation of a Bubsy Revival. even going far to create three OC's for the revival.

Bella: Bubsy's Twin Sister, Drake: The Macho Man Douche Rival, And Mindy: Bubsy's Daughter Figure.

Since the end of 2025 I've also put these characters to light with Comic dubs, along with other Fellow VA's I work with to voice the Cast!

THE BUBSY DUBS CAST

BUBSY: The Platformer Underdog!

Bubsy in the revival is more complex rather than him being a classic doofus. Ever since "The Incident" he went from a bit narcissistic to now someone who cares for his friends and family. He does whatever he can to support his sister, Bella, and stops at nothing to always be there for anyone close to him to needs him.

OBLIVIA: The Bad Hearing Feline

Bliv is more assertive when it comes to her feelings and her overall relationship with Bubsy. She still gets his name wrong but Bubsy more or less accepts it and doesn't correct her. She was the first to learn about what happened to Bubsy, and by that point, she was more supportive, and is always there for him. unless she needs to put him in his place lol.

TERRENCE AND TERRESA: The Double Trouble Twins

Terrence has and will be the energetic twin, tho in the revival, he cherishes Terresa as a sister. He also comforts her from her constant night terrors, and overall shares his emotions to his twin sister.

Terresa has the low energy, but she on rare occasions shows her goofy side. She is smarter than Terrence, but suffers from constant night terrors due to the result of "The Incident", which emotionally Scarred her.

Nonetheless, the twins love each other very much, and work together as a unit despite their differences in personality.

ARNOLD: The Anxiety Armadillo

Not much has changed about Arnie, he is a truck driver now, but other than that, he's relativly the same Armadillo. He and Bubsy do get along, and ever since "The Incident" Bubsy has opened up to Arnie more about insecurities, and thus the two had a heart to heart talk and became better friends.

VIRGIL: The Sassy, Boomer Rat

Virigl never changes lol! tho he does have some appreciation for Bubsy as a individual. he admires his bravery, his heart, and his overall energy as despite what people say, Bubsy still doesn't care. Still tho, Virgil does lab work, often assist bubsy in jobs, and even gives Bubsy some advice on Oblivia.

BELLA: Bubsy's Twin Sister

Bella is the younger twin sister of Bubsy, and the mother of Terrence and Terresa. She takes pride in picking on her brother, but deeply appreciates him for looking after the kids when she has to work or needs a break. Shes a single mom who does her best, despite all odds she is now seeing someone else after finally moving on from her Ex who left her and the kids.

DRAKE: The Macho Man Rival

Drake has quite the arc. Going from a rival who competed with Bubsy for the hand of Oblivia's Heart. but after countless fails, Drake thought it'd be payback to hang out with his sister, Bella. Little did Drake know, he would actually care and fall for her. Nonethless Bubsy and Drake hate eachother to the certain extent, to the point where they've developed the "Bro Code" meaning they can hate each other in private, but when either, Bella, Bliv, or the kids are around, they gotta stop and get along.

MINDY: Bubsy's Adoptive Daughter

Mindy was saved by Bubsy from Cassandra after they both were captives in her base dungeon. during their time together, they grew a bond within that time span. After their escape, Bubsy took Mindy to a orphanage, but before saying farewells, he decided to become Mindy's Foster Parent. Only then did their bond grow stronger and stronger to where one day both Bubsy and Oblivia adopted Mindy and became her Parents. Even after all that, Mindy is a Smart, brave, curious, and sneaky girl who even surprises her Bobcat Dad so often that it worries him lol.

BOZ AND SID: Dumb and Dumber Henchmen

Boz is more sarcasric and more or less tired of everthing, after all, he cooks, cleans, has to keep Sid in check, and keep Cassandra calm and collected. tho his hobby does involve food art, such as baking, chocolate sculpting, and his personal favorite Cake Fondue.

Sid on the other side, he just messes around. he eats whatever, whenever. even often mistaking Boz as a cooked turkey and even bites him on accident.

Despite their differences, the two are a unit, and understand the assignments that Cassandra gives them. they are the two best of the best in terms of getting the job done.

ALLY CASSANDRA: The Mayor of FleeceVille

Cassandra will always will be a criminal mastermind, dating back to her early career, where Bubsy used to work for her. Until after Bubsy betrayed Cassandra, she since then had a massive hatred towards the Bobcat. Not to mention her hidden rage issues, it was only a matter of time before she snapped. which unfortunately did happen. She attacked bubsy to the point of almost killing him. after that, she disappeared for months until a shocking turn of events where she became the mayor of FleeceVille, and did her undercover "Steal Golden Fleece Operation" undetected as a crimeboss while also being the Mayor.

I don't think my hyperfixation will end anytime soon. I would love to still be into this franchise as the potential is there, as of now, the dubs and Covers are being worked on, but I've placed in a full on wager, if I see any hint of Romance between Bubsy and Oblivia, I will Write and potentially develop a Bubsy revival pilot! I did it with Crash, imma do it with Bubsy too! hope you all are enjoying my take on the Bobcat, and hope you'll stick around for the potential future this guy will have on me.
