The most striking feature of the City Hall is its tower, which stands 36 meters tall and offers stunning views of the city. Visitors can climb the spiral staircase to reach the top of the tower. Inside, the building features many decorative elements such as frescoes and sculptures. In the last years of the Thirty Years’ War, the town hall in Osnabrück, with the nearby town hall in Münster, was the venue for the war’s peace negotiations.
