Graduate Students
My research group is looking for self-motivated Ph.D. students to work on various research topics. The students should have at least two years of higher education in any discipline. Previous training and experience in mathematical analysis, programming, numerical analysis, optimization, and simulation are highly preferred, although not necessary.
Full-time M.S./Ph.D. students in the Department of Statistics at UofSC normally receive full assistantships, including tuition waivers and stipends during the normative study period. Outstanding applicants for the Ph.D. program may receive additional fellowships and awards. For more information regarding the graduate programs, please refer to the Department website.
Additional summer support will typically be provided to Ph.D. students in my research group through my funding sources and collaborations.
Remark: So far, all my Ph.D. students have been fully funded for all their summers in my group!
