Eminence

In Japan, I have become quite well-known to the average person. I think the reason for this is partially because people are still consuming the work that I produced, but also because people seem to be amazed at the sheer quantity of content that I produced, even though they didn't necessarily read every single one of my manga. However, I used to say that my work isn’t impressive at all. Although I do consider myself hardworking and I have a passion for what I do, I often miss deadlines and my life doesn’t really look much different compared to the average Japanese man. But the reason I continue to do what I do is so that one day, that Japanese man will be able to experience manga and anime. As I said once before, I want anime to become a universal language.

Now I have realized that thousands of fellow manga artists share my dream, I can see the fruits of my labour. Most of these manga artists wouldn’t exist if it weren’t for my influence. I genuinely believe that the techniques that I used were so beneficial to manga and anime because they made the process so much more exiting and efficient. I think my life has completely changed the manga and anime industries.
