YOUR STUDY MATERIAL STAYS ON YOUR DEVICE
Documents you import are read on this device to build cards. Your study sets, cards, study plans, review progress, custom rules and settings are kept only in the app's private storage on your phone. None of it is uploaded, and the app never sends your documents or cards anywhere.
NO ADS, ANALYTICS OR ACCOUNTS
There are no advertisements, no analytics or tracking of any kind, and no sign-in. You do not need an account to use the app.
PURCHASES AND THE PRO UPGRADE
Text2Cards is free to use, and optional paid features may be offered as a PRO upgrade. If you choose to buy one, the purchase is handled entirely by Google Play Billing. The app receives only the purchase status needed to unlock the paid features; your name, card and payment details are handled by Google Play and are never seen or stored by Text2Cards. Any network access is limited to Google Play Billing and related Google Play services processing the purchase and verifying that status — your documents, cards and progress are never part of it, and are never sent to the developer or to anyone else.
YOUR ORIGINAL FILES ARE NOT CHANGED
Text2Cards opens a document you pick through Android's file picker, reads its text, and never modifies, moves or copies the original. Removing an import from the app deletes only the cards it created — the file on your device is left untouched.
EXPORTS ARE UNDER YOUR CONTROL
If you export your study sets, Android's file picker asks where to save the file and it is written only to the location you choose. Importing an export reads only the file you select.
PERMISSIONS
Notifications are used solely to remind you when a study round is due, and only if you turn reminders on. A foreground service is used only to keep a long import running while the app is in the background. The app does not use location, contacts, camera, microphone or your identity.
DELETING YOUR DATA
Uninstalling Text2Cards removes everything it stored on your device. Any export you saved elsewhere stays where you put it, under your control.
