Little Bit is a 3½‑year‑old sorrel mare, standing at approximately 13 hands tall — small in size but mighty in heart. She came to Texas Highway 21 Horse Rescue from a livestock auction, where we outbid the kill buyer to save her life. She arrived in heartbreaking condition — thin, sore, and covered in divots across her back and body from a severe hailstorm. It took time, care, and patience for her to heal, but this brave little mare never gave up.

Because of her rough beginning, Little Bit was slow to trust people. But with consistency and kindness, she has blossomed into a sweet, willing Quarter Horse–mix pony with a gentle spirit and a spark of try that makes her truly special.

• Completed groundwork and responds well

• Been saddled several times

• Shown readiness to continue her training with her very own person

She is turning into a lovely, responsive little mare who just needs someone patient and committed to helping her reach her full potential.

Power of the Bucks is a stunning buckskin Tennessee Walker mare with a heart as soft as her golden coat. At 18 years old and 15.2 hands tall, she carries herself with the calm, wise presence of a mare who has lived a long, hardworking life — and is finally ready for peace.

She spent many years as a broodmare, bringing new life into the world, and now she deserves a gentle retirement where she can simply be a horse.

Today, she is safe, healthy, and blossoming with the quiet gratitude that only a rescued horse can show. She loves soft voices, slow moments, and the comfort of a pasture where she never has to worry again.

Power of the Bucks is now searching for her forever pasture home — a place where she can live out her days with kindness, routine, and love.

🐴 MEET DONKEEE 2‑YEAR‑OLD GELDED DONKEY Donkeee is a young, spirited little guy who was rescued.

At only two years old, he’s still learning what kindness feels like — and every day he gets a little braver.He’s a small standard gelding, full of personality, curiosity, and that classic donkey stubborn‑sweet charm.

Right now he’s a bit on the wild side, but with treats, patience, and gentle handling, he’s already making progress.

He’s looking for an adopter who understands donkeys, respects their pace, and wants to help him grow into the confident, loving companion he’s meant to be.

Jack Donkey is a 19‑year‑old, small, older gentleman who has just arrived at Texas Highway 21 Horse Rescue. He may be tiny, but he carries a whole lifetime of stories in those soft, wise eyes. Jack is gentle, quiet, and taking his time settling in — and we’re giving him all the patience, comfort, and kindness he deserves.
