COMPANY DANCER / ARTISTIC AND EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Iyana Voltaire is a dedicated and dynamic dance artist, choreographer, instructor, and administrator based in Rochester, NY. She is pursuing a BFA in Dance and a BS in Business at SUNY Brockport. Trained in contemporary, tap, jazz, ballet, hip-hop, and modern, she has been teaching throughout Rochester since the age of 16. Iyana has toured with Sankofa Drum and Dance Ensemble, presented original choreography, and performed at the Women in Dance Conference in Chicago. As the founder of TETRA Dance, her choreography has been featured in festivals including the Rochester Fringe. Additionally, she has worked as an administrative assistant with Garth Fagan Dance, studying Fagan Technique. Along with teaching the next generation, Iyana is passionate about building dances that surprise, entertain, and tell stories through any context.

Heather Boorman is a modern and contemporary dancer, teacher, and choreographer from the Rochester area. She trained competitively at Elite Studio of Dance and received a BA in Dance from the State University of New York Brockport in May of 2024. While in college, Heather performed in multiple works by faculty member James Hansen, and in various undergraduate and graduate pieces produced by the college. Heather had the opportunity to perform a self-choreographed solo at the 2024 American College Dance Association Northeast Conference. Her focus is on contemporary and modern dance, but she also loves working in ballet and jazz. Heather currently teaches dance at Alaina Visalli Dance Company, where she gets to inspire a love of dance in children of all ages and levels through a welcoming environment that encourages the dancers to explore artistry and personal agency. She hopes to continue performing, choreographing, and coaching young dancers in the Rochester area, exploring the dance world, and becoming more involved in the professional dance performance space. She couldn't be more excited to enter this new journey with Tetra Dance!

Ally is a ballet and contemporary dancer, teacher, and choreographer from Rochester. Ally trained at Little Red Dance Studio, where she danced competitively for many years. Ally has earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Dance from SUNY Brockport. This is where Ally refined her passion for movement, performance, and creative exploration. Specializing in contemporary and ballet, Ally teaches a variety of dance styles while fostering technical foundation and artistry. Throughout Ally's career, she has collaborated with a diverse range of artists and choreographers, shaping a dynamic and versatile approach to both performance and artistry. Ally is excited to continue performing with TETRA Dance.

COMPANY DANCER
MacKenzie Pedersen, a dancer from Batavia, NY, graduated from the University at Buffalo with her BFA in Dance in the spring of 2024. During her time in college, she performed in numerous departmental productions, both on stage and on film. MacKenzie has trained with leading industry professionals in both concert and commercial dance, including Chanon Judson, Will Johnston, Jamila Glass, Morgan A. Williams, Amy P. Giordano, David Dorfman, Cameron McKinney, Channel Anthony, Rose Harris, and Mickeey Nguyen. Since graduating, MacKenzie has been performing with and choreographing for the band Cruel Summer. She has also performed with Underground Blo, Starring Buffalo's Rent, and the Rochester Fringe Festival. Her focus lies in commercial dance, particularly commercial heels, jazz funk, and contemporary. She is thrilled to be returning for another season with TETRA Dance Company and to dance alongside such incredible artists!

Lauren Thomas is a versatile dancer who received her training in the charming little town of Albion, NY. She grew up with a love of jazz, ballet, and contemporary styles, but has explored a little bit of everything. After high school, she spent time teaching young dancers while taking any opportunity she could to dance and perform. In the fall of 2024, she was accepted into the CLI Conservatory, located in Southampton, Massachusetts. In September of 2025, she started her 10-month training journey. She has been taught and mentored under the guidance of various professionals within the industry, including Teddy Forance, Martha Nichols, Riley Watts, Casey Gonzalez, Jennifer Snyder, and Stephanie Shumway. In June, she graduated with the CLI Conservatory Class of 2026. Lauren has a huge love for dance, the community, and the joy it can bring to others!

Sarah Spina-Roberson is a modern/contemporary dancer, choreographer, and teacher from Rochester, NY. She grew up dancing at Finger Lakes Ballet Academy as well as attending the New York State Summer School of the Arts Dance program where she trained with Carolyn Adams, Beth Gill, Erika Pujic, and Sean Sullivan. She received her B.S. in Dance Studies from Nazareth University in 2019 and has since been teaching around the Rochester area. She is currently a teacher at Idols Dance Company where she is passionate about cultivating a love and respect for dance in her students. She is thrilled to be joining TETRA Dance this season and to have the opportunity to work and perform professionally with such engaging artists.

Tatum Nhalay is a performer and choreographer based in Rochester, NY. She has been dancing for 19 years, training in all styles. She is a SOTA dance alumni and later attended Boston University, where she joined Fusion Dance Troupe. Her performance credits span across the Rochester and Boston region, most notably, Elements Dance Competition, Prelude New England, and SOTA Dance Concert. Tatum has also had the privilege of training under choreographers such as Aika Doone, Teddy Forance, Marlee Hightower, and many more. She is thrilled to join the cast of “Throughlines,” and would like to thank her friends and family for their endless support.

Kenzie Anne is a 16-year-old dancer from New York. She trains at Studio East Dance Company, where she has developed a strong foundation in a variety of dance styles, with a special passion for tap. Her accomplishments include being named Teen Performer of the Year at Empire Dance Challenge and Second Runner-Up at True Talent Nationals. Kenzie has also assisted at Soul de Soul Dance Convention, Turn It Up Dance Convention, Platinum Dance Collective, and Waves Dance Competition, while training with renowned artists including Chloe and Maud Arnold, Martha Nichols, Teddy Forance, Blake McGrath, and Aaron Tolson. Dedicated to pursuing a professional dance career, Kenzie continues to expand her training through prestigious summer intensives and selective programs. She brings musicality, versatility, and a genuine love of performance to every opportunity, striving to inspire others through her artistry and commitment to the dance community.
