Author Bio

Tess Taylor Australian novelist and author of the Lady Archangel Fey series multiverse where the divine and the domestic coexist. Tess Tyalor has been writing stories since childhood and was drawn early to fantasy, myth, and emotionally grounded storytelling. Although writing was always her first passion, she set it aside while raising her three children, returning to creative life once they were grown. She now balances writing with a love of cooking, nature, and time spent with her golden retriever, Indie Summer.

Born 1974 in Melbourne and now based in Western Australia, Tess draws inspiration from both the natural world and expansive imagined realms. Having spent most of her life in Western Australia, she proudly considers herself a “sandgroper,” a local term for Western Australians.

Now in her early fifties, Tess is making her debut as an author after more than a decade working in administration. Shaped by the experience of divorce and single motherhood, she brings resilience, emotional depth, and a strong belief in second beginnings to her work. Her guiding philosophy is simple: you are never too old to begin something new.
