Civically Engaged Adult Clinic

The Salt Lake Community College Occupational Therapy clinic provides students with educational experiences and opportunities focused on developing clinical, professional, and behavioral skills while providing pro bono therapy services to underserved, underinsured, and uninsured community clients. The clinic is located at SLCC's Jordan campus in the health science building, 1301 N Main St, South Jordan, UT 84065. 

The clinic runs for 12 weeks out of the 16 weeks of the semester. Each student attends 13 sessions total of adult onsite, adult telehealth, pediatric onsite, and pediatric telehealth. Each student attends a client's session 3 times in different positions: tertiary,  secondary, and primary. I was the primary student on February 24, 2025, and March , 2025, for 2 of our adult clients.
