Tesoro Canals 

Across the lush and picturesque landscape of Tesoro Cove wind the iconic Tesoro Canals. Constructed alongside the iconic structures of the settlement, the canals were built to carry and control the flow of the pristine waters of the area. Connecting the fresh water sources of the jungle and caverns with the village and out to the bay they now serve as the most relaxing and scenic way to enjoy the sites during your stay. Whether you grab a tube or choose to swim along, step into the cool refreshing waters and start your journey. 

The canals traverse each section of the Tesoro Bay with multiple points of entry and exit in each section allowing it to serve as a cooler and more relaxing way to travel the park as well as an attraction in its own right. We enter the canals in Porto Adventuro stepping down the tiled steps and float past the Spanish mission and makeshift shipwreck architecture under bridges and past ornate walls. Our route branches in multiple directions as it takes us under Fuerte Furi. As we traverse deeper into it we enter a room resembling a dungeon filled with cells and the skeletal remains of past prisoners. As we pass deeper into the bone-filled room it suddenly starts to come alive with the spirits of the souls left to haunt its halls. Other branching paths take us deeper into the treasure room, the map room, or the armory all unique and dynamic dark ride scenes.

The canals flow along past the man made structures into the natural environments of Paraiso Lost Jungle and Muerte Caverns. Each new section provides similar opportunities to choose diverging paths and explore special scenes and unique settings along the waters of Tersos Cove. Each one gives us details and explores the backstory of this land. The Canals are a lazy river in a way that’s never been done before; telling a story.
