Welcome. To Disney's Tesoro Cove. The Entry Plaza
The Caribbean rhythm of steel drums and calypso fills the air as hibiscus and palm trees add greenery in planters with embedded seating add to the ambiance. A large fountain sits in the center of the plaza and features a mermaid figurehead ripped from the bow of the ship standing tall in the center.
Large cracked and weathered masts hold up patched-together sails to cover the ticket booths and queue for those wishing to purchase tickets to enter Isla de Tesoro or any other attraction at the resort. The stanchions in the queue are made from bits and ends of ropes once used to secure the sails overhead on the various ships that were wrecked and lost in the Bermuda Triangle. The ticket booths themselves are converted from lifeboats that have been repurposed with netting and wooden planks acting as canopies for guests, lanterns are strung up to provide light during the night in the area.
Walking past the ticket booths guests are met with the entrance of the park - Fuerte Furia, a famed pirate fort filled with treasures and built from the remnants of what the sea gods left of once glorious vessels of the ocean. The now capsized Oudeis is split upon rocks with an opening in its hull allowing for entrance and exit gates to coexist for the park. Once guests pass these gates they are in for a swashbuckling splashing time.
