"Terror Twister 2: A Turn For The Worse" is your classic teacup ride, with a Halloween twist! Terror Twister 2 adds high energy, synchronized musical light shows to your ride experience, spinning you through one of many 2+ minute ride cycles! Featuring fog machines, powerful LED lighting synchronized to high-energy music, Terror Twister 2 provides a truly "psycho-sonic" ride adventure!
"Terror Twister 2: A Turn For The Worse" features many modifications for the Halloween season. Among these modifications is the enclosure of the ride, allowing you to be immersed in powerful synchronized sound and light shows throughout your extended ride time, where each ride lasts about 2 1/4 minutes. Synchronized LED lights and a ride audio system work together to provide park guests with an innovative and unique experience. All of the rides light shows are programmed onto the "Effects Control System," which communicates with the ride operator's controller in order to turn off the room lights and begin the synchronized light show. Each ride cycle is an entirely unique experience, each rotating throughout the day. The color mixing LED lights installed on the ride are capable of producing millions colors, meaning there are unlimited possibilities for the riders to experience.
If you don't like spinny rides, you can still watch the ride in the viewing area. This is very convenient for groups of friends/families that have some people that want to ride, and some that don't. Just ask the ride operator where you can sit it out and watch.
The ride is considerably longer during Fright fest - the ride time has been extended by nearly a full minute - what a deal!
There are no typical Halloween "scary monster" decorations at Terror Twister 2, so it's great for people and children that don't like that stuff... Technically, the only truly "scary" thing at Terror Twister 2 is that there are brief moments of darkness when riding, other than that, most people describe it has a "hardcore teacup rave"... and we're perfectly fine with that.
There are no actual lasers in use at Terror Twister 2, it's all LED-based lighting.
